Sales Executives
Expoships LLLP, a rapidly expanding megayacht trade show and exposition
firm seeks sales executives for its Naples, Florida corporate office.
Sales executives will lease space aboard the specially built megayacht,
SeaFair - a 228’ purpose-built exposition vessel. The yacht includes
28 individual exhibition spaces ranging in size from 250 square – 600
square feet, outstanding food & beverage facilities, and impressive
public spaces.
SeaFair is the world’s first luxury marine exposition facility. It
enables exhibitors a new presence in 38 coastal communities along the
eastern seaboard of the United States in existing yachting facilities.
Each five-day port visit begins with a formal gala preview for
approximately 500 guests designed to raise substantial funds for a
local charity. Additionally, SeaFair hosts celebrity guest chef events,
press previews and private events for financial institutions, cultural
organizations, and other “invitation only events."
Job Description:
The Sales Executive will lease space on a weekly, monthly, seasonal or
annual basis to potential clients. The ship was originally designed to
serve the elite art & antique sector and has received extremely
favorable initial reviews in that category. Management has made the
decision to expand the roster of shipboard tenants to include multiple
sectors of the luxury market including those featuring fashion,
jewelry, transportation (planes, automobiles and yachts) and other
products appealing to affluent buyers. SeaFair’s goal is to attract
approximately 4000 carefully screened potential clients each week.
The vessel will at times operate in a business to consumer (B to C)
modality and at other times in a business to business modality (B to B)
depending on season, geographical location, and parallel events. The
vessel will at times co-locate with larger scale existing events.
The sales professional will be responsible for assisting the
development of sales strategies, proposals and presentations for
existing and new accounts, building and maintaining client
relationships, and expanding client’s sales strategies through
Expoships participation. The goal of Expoships tenancy is to target new
markets and expand client bases in order to meet each exhibitor’s sales
and marketing objectives.
Job Requirements:
• Independently implements organization sales and sales marketing plans
• A successful track record of establishing sales goals, and the proven ability meet or exceed those goals
• Communicates all marketing strategies and sales efforts to different departments throughout organization
• At least 7 years experience in advertising, media, or exposition sales
• Multi-lingual ability is an asset
